*All Double Doors / BiFold Doors larger than 48": Only on double bookcase doors larger than 4' door size, the frames (4 pieces) are partially disassembled and shipped in 3 separate containers so that they are easier to maneuver into your home or office, it also cuts down on shipping costs. The door turned out beautifully. Excellent craftsmanship. Staff were very helpful with me making my selection. They were quick to respond to any questions I had.
We got the door with no issues and it looks super good ! installation was easy.
The instructions for the secret book latch option are Honestly not very good and could us some perfecting - better pictures and more of them and a better step by step discription - a detailed video would help.

We ordered this bookcase door for a secret kid's space. Since kids can be tough on things, I thought it would be best to order the heavier duty backing. It looks like it could withstand getting hit by most any toy, etc. Pleased so far!
The electronic strike and thumbprint reader kit is definitely the way to go. I concealed my fingerprint reader behind wall art. The exit button from the inside provided a level of comfort knowing that I can get out. My system is set to auto unlock if the power should ever go. That too is very comforting.
I love that the door is made out of wood and still reasonably priced. The door took 10 weeks to receive but it was crated and in perfect condition and as purchased.

Gorgeous Paint Job. Glad we got the paint included because it would have been such a hassle otherwise. I'm pretty picky when it comes to raised areas, splotches, or runny spots. This had none of that and looks like very well applied layers of quality paint.
It's made of real wood, looks fantastic, and opens/closes superbly. Can't even tell the bookcase is a door unless someone tells you. Takes 2-4 hours to install with two people depending how handy you are.
I think the doors look great. I figured they would have been attached considering the cost.
It took some trial and error (and several shims) to get level. But now looks and works wonderfully!
Ordered extra shelves for our door. They double checked with me to make sure of fit. They are perfect. Great customer service.
Brent, who handles the sales did a great job of helping me chose my options. If he wasn’t sure he got the guys in the factory on the phone. I paid for the expediting fee and they delivered on time. The installation video on their site didn’t show the door I had so o had to a bit of improvising. All in all a good experience.
Purchased hidden bookshelves and the order came with the wrong opening... may have been my ordering error but process was definitely not clear and it's hard to get assistance. My advice is be extra careful when ordering.
We are sorry to see that you ordered the wrong door, however; that is sound advice for anyone purchasing a high dollar product. We would have to disagree with you about when you said the information was not clear as we painstakingly made sure there were several areas around the website with links and videos to describe the product which you purchased. Wd never want to see a customer make an ordering mistake, so our customer service team is on standby to help answer questions via chat, email, or by phone with our sales rep.
We ordered a bookcase door on March 14th for our customer. We finally received it on May 29th... only our door was sent to Florida and we received the door that should have been in Florida. Brent was helpful trying to get the door located and shipped to us, but we didn't receive our correct door until 6/17/25. I asked if they could do something for our customer since this project lasted much longer with their home torn up than it should have... the answer was "No, not our fault". Very disappointing.
There are infants more organized than this business, support is abysmal.
