IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS FOR LOW CEILINGS

BiFold Bookcase Doors

A hidden BiFold door mounts directly to the surface of a wall and is specifically designed to cover over an existing doorway. Because a BiFold Bookcase Door is larger than the opening it covers, careful consideration for low ceilings and side clearances is required.
  • Height: Unit will be approximately 8-1/2" taller than the existing doorway
  • Requires a minimum of 6-1/2" above the top mounting box
  • Needs clearance on both the left and right sides to operate properly
