1/4" Backing is a standard option on all bookcase doors and can be painted or stained. 1/4" offers no real strength to the bookcase unit and can flex when pushed.
Upgrade from 1/4" to 3/4" backing, a unique option exclusively from Hide-A-Way Doors that offers more strength and stability to your bookcase door. Will not flex when pushed.
