Was a bit skeptical at the start of the process, but soon became comfortable. Yes, these doors do take some time to craft, but they are worth it in the end. Quality is very good, door was packaged well and delivery was fast.

Im a contractor and just installed the 2 murphy bookshelf doors today for my clients and they were so easy to install! Much easier than expected! They are very high quality, and was very impressed with the knotty alder. I tried adjusting the door so it didnt catch on the bottom and havent figured out how yet. Will be watching the install video that was suggested on the instruction video. My client loves them!

The instructions for the secret book latch option are Honestly not very good and could us some perfecting - better pictures and more of them and a better step by step discription - a detailed video would help.

We ordered this bookcase door for a secret kid's space. Since kids can be tough on things, I thought it would be best to order the heavier duty backing. It looks like it could withstand getting hit by most any toy, etc. Pleased so far!
The electronic strike and thumbprint reader kit is definitely the way to go. I concealed my fingerprint reader behind wall art. The exit button from the inside provided a level of comfort knowing that I can get out. My system is set to auto unlock if the power should ever go. That too is very comforting.
I love that the door is made out of wood and still reasonably priced. The door took 10 weeks to receive but it was crated and in perfect condition and as purchased.

Gorgeous Paint Job. Glad we got the paint included because it would have been such a hassle otherwise. I'm pretty picky when it comes to raised areas, splotches, or runny spots. This had none of that and looks like very well applied layers of quality paint.
It's made of real wood, looks fantastic, and opens/closes superbly. Can't even tell the bookcase is a door unless someone tells you. Takes 2-4 hours to install with two people depending how handy you are.
I think the doors look great. I figured they would have been attached considering the cost.
