Question: Can I use my own trim on your doors?

Answer: Our trim was specifically designed to work on our doors. We cannot guarantee your trim will work, however; if you would like to try your trim simply list in customer notes, "Please leave trim unattached." We will not attach our trim but will send you the trim incase yours does not work.

Question: Why do you not attach rear trim?

Answer: While we do offer rear trim as an add to cart option, we do not attach the rear trim so that you are able to installer your door. Your door will not fit into your opening with the rear trim attached.

Case Molding

Flat case molding

Flat Case Trim

Flat Case Molding is standard for all bookcase and mirror doors. The top case molding is stepped over by 1/4" on all bookcase doors and the top & bottom trim is jointed using wooden dowels and glue

Fluted with flat top case

Fluted

Fluted Case Molding is an elegant upgrade for your door. When you choose fluted case molding the sides are fluted, the top remains flat, this is to give a Roman architectural look. The appearance of fluted case molding with fluted tops clash, therefore we do not use flutes horizontally.

Basic crown molding

Crown Molding

Basic crown molding is 3-1/2" tall and overhangs the vertical case molding roughly 1/2" per side. The crown molding is attached to the flat case and shipped unattached to prevent shipping related damages.

A Hide-A-Way Doors exclusive combines the classic colonial look of Crown & Dental Molding. All crown molding is sent with the order unattached to avoid from shipping related damages.
